With January almost to a close, I decided I would summarize my reading for the month. I have read cozy mysteries all month, with the exception of my audio books. This was in a quest to find a new favorite cozy mystery series. Last year, there was a free Kindle download for Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder by Joanne Fluke. This was the first book in her Hannah Swensen mystery series. I was hooked from the first book and am currently caught up with the series. (Look for complete series review to come.)
Here are the books I’ve read this month in a quest for a new cozy favorite:
Fatal Fixer Upper by Jennie Bentley
On What Grounds by Cleo Coyle
Through the Grinder by Cleo Coyle
Latte Trouble by Cleo Coyle
Coffeehouse Mysteries
Murder is Binding by Lorna Barrett
State of the Onion by Julie Hyzy
Hail to the Chef by Julie Hyzy
Eggsecutive Orders by Julie Hyzy
The Chocolate Cat Caper by Joanna Carl
The Diva Runs Out of Thyme by Krista Davis
So to date, my new cozy favorite is Julie Hyzy’s White House Chef mystery series. Look for individual reviews on each cozy mystery in the near future.
