It's election time in Savannah, Georgia and Judge Gloria has her hands full against running mate Kip Seymour. Slinging all the bad ideas he can drum up her way, he pushes her to the limits. Her sister, Aunt Kiki, and daughter, Reagan, find a not so alive Kip Seymour shortly after an altercation with Gloria. Wow, now that's bad timing. With all the antics as expected in a cozy mystery and more, Kiki and Reagan immediately jump on the case.

Characters:
Being my first book, I enjoyed all of the characters and can’t wait to read more books from this series to get to know them better. Especially going back to see what it was that made them who they are in this book.

While I loved Joey from the Seventeeth Gang, his mysteriousness and all, my favorite character was Boone. From being a dirt bag at the beginning of the book, to being a very important part of the Judge’s life, I loved seeing Reagan’s reaction to all of his antics.

Location and Setting:
Loved the southern feel and fun. Definitely not just stereotypical, but I could almost hear the southern drawl as I read. Lots of fun. Loved Savannah Georgia and will definitely visit her again.

I really enjoyed this book. A great mystery with lots of laugh and humor along the way.

Duffy Brown loves anything with a mystery. While others girls dreamed of dating Brad Pitt, Duffy longed to take Sherlock Holmes to the prom. She has two cats, Spooky and Dr. Watson, her license plate is Sherlock and she conjures up who-done-it stories of her very own for Berkley Prime Crime. Duffy’s national bestselling Consignment Shop Mystery series is set in Savannah and the Cyclepath Mysteries are set on Mackinac Island. Duffy writes romance as Dianne Castell and is a USA Today bestselling author.
